Well as the evenings draw in and the light fads away, its fairly obvious that winter is just around the corner. With the cold mornings, theres a sense of earyness as you watch the mist accross the fields. ;)
The stations are clear, the odd train or two pull in for the travellers, but the number of people day by day gets less and less.
;)
How will this end, it will end with christmas, after then starts the new year. Until then we must see this year out with a few more mornings of mist, drizzle, and a chill that bites to the bone.
The clouds roll by, occsionally you will hear birds in the distance, the call of the summer birds being replaced with the russle of leaves and the song of robins.
Frost settling on the ground covering everything in a crunchy white coat, the smell of dieing leaves fills the air, as time goes on, surrounded by the fall of snow flakes, the summer has gone.
Roll on next summer when the world comes back to life. Until then, we only have the comfort of the sounds of winter.

Well, Another year gone, well almost anyway, September now, it won't be long before its christmas.
soon it will be time to watch the Track Santa website.
personally I am looking forward to December, gone is the heat, and here comes the cold.
Can someone please slow down time. ??
